SCI, a Minority Woman-owned Business Enterprise (MWBE) and Small Business Administration (SBA) certified Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB), was founded in 1983 by Lynette Spano.  As a Section 8(a) graduate, today we have a staff of approximately 200 full-time IT staff located in 19 cities across the U.S. with major locations in the greater metropolitan Washington DC area and Oak Ridge, Tennessee. 

The SCI leadership consists of individuals with deep expertise in program and project management, IT, and business consulting.  At the helm is SCI’s founder, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer, Lynette Spano.  Serving as President is Raymond (Ray) Lupo who brings more than 24 years of IT experience in the commercial, international, and Federal environments.  In addition to IT, he has a wealth of complex, technical project and large program management experience. Other members of the leadership team include two Senior Vice Presidents, Ms. Patricia (Patty) Baird and Peter Engel.  Both have served in a variety of roles with multiple companies and collectively bring more than 50 years of IT experience working in the federal and commercial marketplace. 

SCI supports commercial and government clients with expertise and capabilities that span the full enterprise IT spectrum (business consulting and management, information management, applications management, and infrastructure management).  Through support of our Federal clients, we maintain a Top Secret Facility Clearance and Department of Energy, Contract Security Classification Specifications.
