Internships

Today’s students are tomorrow’s business leaders.

SCI believes that a successful future is dependent upon experience in the REAL WORLD! We offer an exciting and competitive Internship Program open to qualified candidates each year in numerous areas of practice including: Contracts, finance, marketing, accounting and general business practices. The purpose of the program is to assimilate college students into the corporate environment, going beyond the textbooks, practicing skill sets learned in school, and applying them to real world problems. Our interns have direct access to our top executives, learning valuable information and solutions applicable to everyday work challenges.

The time to learn is now! It is our hope that by providing students with the opportunity to learn and excel in a Federal Government contracting and entrepreneurial minded space, that solid professional relationships will be established and fostered throughout the career lifetime.

Qualifications

SCI Interns are selected on a competitive basis from colleges and universities for participation in our program. Interns must be actively enrolled in school, have completed one full year of coursework, and must possess a 3.0 cumulative GPA or higher.

All Interns are required to provide a certified copy of their most recent transcript as well as their updated resume.

Schedule/Hours of Work

The SCI Internship Program will traditionally take place during the summer months, but may extend beyond that into the fall based on the needs of the company.

Work hours range from Monday – Friday, 8:30 – 5:30 PM, with a one-hour period for lunch.

Compensation & Benefits

Interns are paid on an hourly basis. Rates are determined based on (1) the Intern’s qualifications and (2) the availability of funding by the company. Interns are not eligible to participate in any company offered/provided benefits.
